I admit I got scammed by Leisure Getaways!
Nearly two weeks later am still waiting for a serious reply to my complaint. These people have all the earmarks of a *** ball scam company. Will update when I finally hear something that makes sense.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

Resolved: Misrepresented & misleading
We were finally able to put this issue to bed - LGI made us a satisfactory settlement and we are looking forward to actually using the timeshares next year.

No, the issue has not been resolved. They offered more points, but more points does not fix the unavailability of resorts - just adds to the unusable points. Thus far, they have not responded to my last email, or my last update here.

Resolved: LGI Timeshare Ripoff-buyer beware!!
We were finally able to resolve this issue with LGI once we got to the right person.
I recently received a letter from Washington State Department of Licensing which stated that the entire transaction with LGI was illegal due to their not being registered and/or licensed in WA State. Therefore, we are entitled to a full refund of the timeshare purchase.
About the same time, I received another contact from LGI stating they were willing to make a monetary settlement to satisfy us, but it has been a few days since I heard from them so this may be just like the last contact that went nowhere. If they don't respond by end of today, guess I will contact an attorney to see what would be the next step to getting the refund.
No, there has been no resolution to our problem with LGI. Obviously their "satisfaction guaranteed" slogan is just like the product they sell - bogus!
Two weeks and no further response from LGI. Obviously, they have no intentions of proceeding with any resolutions.
LGI graciously offered to increase our total annual points by 35% at no additional cost. However, if the problem is that there are no Resort units available, an increase in points doesn't fix that.
We would just have more points we are unable to utilize. We do not find this to be a satisfactory resolution.

The issue has been resolved by LGI, they have agreed to take care of any maintenance fees. The staff at LGI were most accommodating in getting the problem resolved. Everything seems to taken care of.
